What you need to know about Land Rover and Range Rover Air Conditioning:
-The majority of the time, if your Rover is only blowing hot or warm air, it is because of low Freon.
-If you have low Freon, also known as refrigerant, you have a leak! It’s a closed system so nothing should be running low.
-If your Rover is overheating, the air conditioning will blow warm air out of the vents to pull heat off the engine.
-Freon will normally leak out of hoses or o-rings due to age causing the materials to breakdown.
-LR3, LR4, Discovery and Discovery II’s, along with Range Rover HSE’s can have a rear air conditioning system which includes a separate blower motor and evaporator.
